The main deliverable of the project is an Augmented Reality Application through which the user can visit virtual Zakynthos.

The inspiration and the first steps to develop the application begun around 2011 when a group of researchers envisioned that pre-earthquake Zakynthos could be revived in a virtual world that would mix with the real one, offering a more interesting experience during the user’s journey to pre-earthquake Zakynthos .

The idea of this application was embraced from the very first stages of its development by Zakynthos Chamber of Commerce and after persistent efforts the project was included in the funding framework, with the result that today the first version of the application is available for use.
